AND TO ALL FORGOTTEN
--------------------
Nowadays every demo, intro or
message file consists some kind of
greetings part (mostly scrollers).
Greetings; a very nice idea to say
hellos to your best friends on the
scene, and the greeted one will feel
pleased. But then, what about those
group-greetings and uncomplete lists?
By the group greets, the whole idea
lost its aim, it's rather a 'who knows
more famous teams?' game than a
personal act. Perhaps it's useful for
filling an intro's text and showing
the team's swapper's coolness, but
nothing more. But why are very famous
teams doing it? They don't need to
prove the public they power by this
way, but by their good products. And
greetings parts are usually no more
than a vertical scroller, not a cool
new routine (S.O.S's greets part was
funny, anyway...).
The same goes with uncomplete
gtx-list. It's very strange that in
these scrollers the swapper's most
famous contacts are listed, not his
best friends. On the other hand, a
greets list can be useful. If someone
contacts me, and in his team's intro
his contacts are listed to see if he
worths me... (IT WAS A JOKE! - to
those who started to write an article
about the egoistic me...)
The article's moral: Greet whom you
want to... (No, I won't write here my
full complete personal greetings
list...)

PS: Perhaps Andromeda have found the
best way for greetings. In their new
intro, you just type in your name or
the name of your team, and then a
scroller displays the greetings
concerning you. Cool!
