  4.   Nowadays   every   demo,   intro  or
  5. message  file  consists  some  kind of
  6. greetings   part  (mostly  scrollers).
  7. Greetings;  a  very  nice  idea to say
  8. hellos  to  your  best  friends on the
  9. scene,  and  the greeted one will feel
  10. pleased.   But  then, what about those
  11. group-greetings  and uncomplete lists?
  12. By  the  group  greets, the whole idea
  13. lost its aim, it's rather a 'who knows
  14. more   famous   teams?'  game  than  a
  15. personal act.  Perhaps it's useful for
  16. filling  an  intro's  text and showing
  17. the  team's  swapper's  coolness,  but
  18. nothing more.  But why are very famous
  19. teams  doing  it?   They don't need to
  20. prove  the  public  they power by this
  21. way,  but by their good products.  And
  22. greetings  parts  are  usually no more
  23. than  a  vertical scroller, not a cool
  24. new  routine  (S.O.S's greets part was
  25. funny, anyway...).

  27.   The   same   goes   with  uncomplete
  28. gtx-list.   It's  very strange that in
  29. these  scrollers  the  swapper's  most
  30. famous  contacts  are  listed, not his
  31. best  friends.   On  the other hand, a
  32. greets list can be useful.  If someone
  33. contacts  me,  and in his team's intro
  34. his  contacts  are listed to see if he
  35. worths  me...   (IT  WAS A JOKE!  - to
  36. those  who started to write an article
  37. about the egoistic me...)

  39.   The article's moral:  Greet whom you
  40. want to...  (No, I won't write here my
  41. full   complete   personal   greetings
  42. list...)

  48. PS:   Perhaps Andromeda have found the
  49. best  way for greetings.  In their new
  50. intro,  you  just type in your name or
  51. the  name  of  your  team,  and then a
  52. scroller    displays   the   greetings
  53. concerning you.  Cool!
